Y’all Moving?

We operate with uncompromising integrity, commitment, and respect for our clients. These aren’t just words; they’re principles that guide every decision, every move, and every interaction.

Our Team is focused on ensuring that each client feels supported, valued, and at ease, knowing they’re in capable hands. Every decision we make is rooted in our promise to uphold the highest standards, tailoring our approach to fit the unique needs of each client. For us, it’s not just about getting from one place to another; it’s about creating a positive experience that honors each client’s journey.

The Arranging It All team thrives on creating solutions that bring order to the chaos of moving. We focus on what matters most—delivering thoughtful solutions that make every move feel effortless and personal.

Are you passionate about the same thing?

Do you have a knack for taking a chaotic space and turning it into something beautiful and calm? We are looking for natural caretakers—patient, emotionally intelligent people who thrive on turning a chaotic transition into a huge sigh of relief.

Home Organization Hacks

Our best team members are those who see what needs to be done, take the initiative to do it beautifully, and always lift up their coworkers along the way. We pride ourselves on being a calming, professional presence for our clients, treating their time, budget, and homes with the utmost respect. If you love the idea of combining high-efficiency teamwork with genuine Texas hospitality, you will absolutely thrive here.

Here are the basics of what to expect

Two Paths, One Team: We offer services in both full-service move management and professional organizing. Our move management shifts require stamina and physical hustle—you will be on your feet, bending, stretching, and carrying smaller boxes (don’t worry, our moving team will handle the heavy furniture!). Our professional organizing positions are generally less physically demanding. Many of our team members develop the skills for both and love the variety of working on both teams, while others prefer to specialize in just one area. (We’ve also found that former teachers make incredible additions to our crew!).

The Schedule: This is an on-demand, project-based, part-time role. Because our work is client-driven, hours are not guaranteed—some weeks are a sprint, others are a stroll. If you need a guaranteed 40-hour week, this likely isn’t the right fit.

The Shifts: Most of our jobs are two-day commitments (packing on day one, unpacking and resettling on day two). Shifts typically last 4 to 8 hours, but our expectation is that you stay until the job is done, which can sometimes be late!

The Locations: You will commute to different client homes and senior retirement communities throughout the Austin area, so reliable transportation and a willingness to drive are mandatory.

The Flexibility Trade-off: We offer a high degree of schedule flexibility, but we ask for it in return. To keep our scheduling puzzle intact, we strictly require a two-week notice for any planned time off.

The Perks: While we do not offer benefits right now, we provide excellent compensation starting at $30-$33/hr, and we even provide lunch on shifts lasting 5 hours or more! Additionally, clients will sometimes offer tips for a job well done!

Who We Are Searching For

At Arranging It All, it’s about showing up for people during moments that can feel overwhelming. You’re stepping into someone’s home, their routine, their story, and helping bring a sense of order and relief when they need it most. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and sometimes challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding when you see the difference you’ve made the moment a client walks into their space and can finally breathe.

Move Management Specialist

What the Job is Like

Working as a Move Management Specialist is about more than just moving boxes; it’s about delivering “Texas hospitality” to transform a client’s chaotic transition into a calm, “turnkey” home. You will work in a fast-paced, physically active environment where the goal is to provide a “white-glove” experience that leaves clients feeling immediate relief when they walk into their new space. Most projects involve two-day commitments—packing on day one and unpacking/resettling on day two—requiring a high-energy “hustle” and a compassionate, professional presence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Packing & Unpacking: Perform expert packing of household goods and efficient, thoughtful unpacking and staging in the new home.
  • Organizing: Apply decluttering and organizing skills to ensure every item has a logical and beautiful place.
  • Team Collaboration: Follow directions from Team Leads and Design Specialists while communicating clearly with crew members and clients.
  • Client Representation: Act as a professional, calming representative of Arranging It All, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through every interaction.
  • Site Mobility: Commute daily to various job sites and senior retirement communities throughout the Austin area.

Physical Nature & Optional Skills

  • Physical Activity: This role requires stamina for standing, bending, reaching, and stretching throughout a 4-to-8-hour shift.
  • Lifting: While professional movers handle heavy furniture, you will be responsible for lifting and transporting boxes of smaller household items.
  • Handy Skills (Optional): We value team members who can assist with specialized tasks like art hanging, shelf lining, or small furniture/item assembly/disassembly.

Team Lead: Move Management

What the Job is Like

As a Team Lead, you are the “engine” of the project. While you are still active in the packing and organizing process, your primary focus shifts to project management and team stewardship. You are the point person responsible for ensuring the “Texas hospitality” experience is delivered efficiently and professionally. We value leadership in many forms—whether you’ve managed a corporate team, a project pipeline, or a classroom of students, we are looking for someone who can maintain a calm, authoritative, and compassionate presence in a high-energy environment.

Leadership & Core Responsibilities

Project & Time Management

  • Efficiency Tracking: Monitor the team’s pace to ensure the project stays within the estimated time quoted to the client.
  • Scope Management: Confidently communicate with clients regarding any changes in scope that may affect costs and proactively alert leadership of potential time overruns.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive job notes, including precise start/end times, crew hours, and any incidents or damages.

Communication & Coordination

  • Primary Point of Contact: Identify yourself as the Lead to the client and provide regular progress updates to both the client and the Dispatch team.
  • Vendor Liaison: Coordinate directly with the lead movers to ensure seamless transitions between packing, moving, and unpacking.
  • Team Logistics: Manage the “little things” that keep a team happy, such as ordering crew lunches and monitoring mover behavior to ensure it aligns with our standards.

Quality Control & Safety

  • Equipment Verification: Ensure all electronics (TVs, monitors) and motorized furniture (power beds) are functioning correctly before and after the move.
  • Damage Reporting: Immediately document any damaged items via photo and report them to Dispatch to ensure transparency and quick resolution.
  • Supply Oversight: Manage on-site inventory and materials, ensuring the team has what they need to complete the job without interruption.

Administrative & Financials

  • Invoicing: Calculate and present client invoices through the CrewApp CRM, ensuring all supplies, materials, and expenses (like parking fees) are accurately accounted for.
  • Marketing Support: Capture non-identifiable project photos for marketing efforts and lead the team in personalized client follow-ups, including “Thank You” cards and Google Review requests.

Qualifications

  • Proven Leadership: Experience in personnel management, project management, or leadership roles (e.g., teaching, team lead, or shift management).
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet and handle the unexpected with a calm, professional demeanor.

Stamina & Presence: Must maintain the high energy and physical activity required of a Specialist while simultaneously managing the administrative needs of the project.

Professional Organizing: Your Path at AIA

At Arranging It All, we don’t only help people feel at home when they are moving; we help them rediscover that same feeling in their current home through professional organization. In addition to the one-time projects we’ve offered for years, we are launching an organizing subscription service this year to help clients protect their initial investment and maintain their systems through regular, ongoing visits. Our organizing services are project-based, meaning every day brings a new space and a new story. Whether we are executing a one-time “grand reveal” or supporting a long-term subscriber, our goal is to provide a seamless, white-glove experience.

How Our Team Works

We believe in playing to your strengths. Some of our team members love the high-energy “puzzle” of a major move, while others prefer the meticulous detail of a pantry refresh. We offer two primary roles, with multiple ways to specialize and grow.

Organizing Crew Member

The Heart of the Transformation As a Crew Member, you are the hands-on force that turns chaos into calm. You’ll work under the guidance of a Team Lead to sort, categorize, and implement beautiful, functional systems using AIA’s proven processes and supply systems.

  • Project Variety: You might spend Monday doing a deep-dive “edit” for a one-time client and Tuesday performing a “subscription refresh” for a long-term client.
  • The “Edit”: Execute the sorting and purging process with empathy, helping clients decide what truly belongs in their “next chapter.”
  • System Implementation: Use our proprietary AIA methods to organize closets, kitchens, and living areas so they are magazine-ready.

Organizing Team Lead

The Project Commander Leads are “Architects of Order” who manage the project on-site. We look for folks with leadership or management experience—whether from a corporate office or a classroom—to step into this role.

  • Process Management: You don’t need to bring your own system; you’ll implement AIA’s specific workflows and supply ordering processes to keep projects on track and on budget.
  • Team & Client Stewardship: You manage the crew’s pace and act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring our “Texas hospitality” standards are met at every turn.
  • Feedback Loop: While you follow our roadmap, we value your expertise. Leads are encouraged to provide ideas on how we can refine and improve our internal processes.

Customize Your Experience

One-Time vs. Subscription Projects Our projects range from standalone transformations to ongoing maintenance for our subscription members.

  • One-Shot Projects: High-impact, “Before & After” transformations.
  • Maintenance Support: Building long-term relationships with clients through recurring “tune-ups” to ensure their homes stay organized as their lives change.
  • We monitor client fit and employee preferences to schedule you for the projects that suit you best.

The “Mix It Up” Option (Cross-Training) Because we are a full-service Move Management and Organizing firm, you have the option to cross-train.

  • Stay Focused: If you only want to do Professional Organizing, that’s great!
  • Maximize Your Hours: For those who want more hours and variety, you can get trained in both Move Management and Organizing. This allows you to mix up your work week and makes you eligible for more project placements.

Growth from Within We are always looking for “natural leaders.” While you may start as a Crew Member, we love to promote from within as our team members master the AIA way and show a knack for leading others.

How to Join the Team

We are always looking for amazing people who want to learn, grow, and bring comfort to our clients.

If you are comfortable with a dynamic schedule, love the satisfaction of a beautifully finished space, and are ready to deliver compassionate service, we want to hear from you!
